Sometimes finding space can be a challenge. Take for example you want or need just one more bathroom but there is just no where to put it. Then it dawns on you there is an attic or other small  forgotten space, used for storage, or space you never knew you had. With some older homes there’s the little extra hidden away that no one though about.

These small spaces can make great bathroom additions. Such as, with this particular home built in the 1940s. There was a second floor with 2 bedrooms but no bathroom and seemingly “no extra space.” However, what we found was a bit of left over attic space being used for storage. At first it looked rather small due to all of its contents but after cleaning it out it was much larger than it first appeared.

Sometimes it only takes a little home investigation to fine that bit of added space for your next remodeling project.
